Job responsibilities:

• Washing and ironing guests' clothes, and sending them to the dry cleaners.
• Washing, ironing and dry cleaning of hotel textiles and work clothes.
• Operation and monitoring of washing and drying machines, including the addition of chemicals and cleaning of lint traps.
• Identifies stained or damaged garments and determines the need for repair, stain treatment, rewashing or disposal.
• Checks the cleanliness of items removed from the washing machine and dryer,
• The tumble dryer is set to the specified time and temperature based on the textiles in the load.
• Fold the cleaned textiles by hand or with a folding machine to the specified size.
• Keeps a record of textiles sent to the dry cleaners and those washed on-site.
