Anna Café as part of the Book-Wine-Jazz Festival
We welcome visitors to Anna Café for the Book-Wine-Jazz Festival, which will take place between 12-16 June, and will promote Hungarian literature in a relaxed atmosphere, with open-air concerts, wine tastings, light discussions and street book sales.
The programme of the festival will include literary discussions and book launches, with a 3,000-volume book convoy stationed at the Kisfaludy Stage, where Janka Fábián, Anna Karády from Ferenc Ferenc, psychologist Ágnes Vida and Attila József Prize-winning author Tamás Kötter will sign books, courtesy of Libri. There will be wine pavilions and book stalls in the Vaszary Garden and local cafés on Blaha Lujza Street, and both venues will have outdoor stages with more sophisticated jazz every day.
On the terrace of the cosy Anna Café you can taste the best wines of the Lake Balaton Highlands, paired with our homemade wine glasses. Among other things, the typical grape varieties of the Káli-basin, hand-harvested grapes straight from the Szent György mountain, authentically present the unique, mineral flavours of the Káli-region.
