2025 was the year of the Annas!<\/h3>\n\n\n <\/span>\n\n<\/div>

Throughout 2025, the Anna Grand Hotel team celebrated the 200th anniversary of the Anna Ball and the hotel's traditions dating back more than 200 years. The Year of the Annas powered by GLAMOUR chats series hosted one famous Anna each month.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The predecessor of the Anna Grand Hotel, the Grand Restaurant, was so popular in the 1840s that a shuttle service took guests to Balatonf\u00fcred three times a week, and in 1842 Lajos Kossuth also paid a visit to the restaurant. The place became smaller and smaller and more and more crowded, so by 1848 the Anna Caf\u00e9 was built, modelled on the Pilvax in Pest. But this year is also a red letter in the history of the city, because it was the first time that the Anna Ball was held in the ballroom of the Great Restaurant. The hotel has expanded and changed names over the decades, but one thing has become a century-old tradition: the hotel has become a permanent venue for the Anna Ball.<\/p>\n\n\n <\/span>\n\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

In July, the 200th Anna's Ball saw the arrival of its first guests, so this year we celebrated the iconic bicentenary event with guests on a special weekend each month, or even as outsiders at the Year of the Anna's powered by GLAMOUR discussion evenings. In January, the series started with anti-aging specialist and beautician Anna Harangv\u00f6lgyi, in February we hosted actress Anna Trok\u00e1n, and in March the special evenings continued with Katona J\u00f3zsef Theatre actress Anna P\u00e1lmai.<\/p>\n\n\n <\/span>\n\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

In April, we also talked to Anna Kar\u00e1dy about her novel The Girl from Fyre, in which the predecessor of the Anna Grand Hotel also plays an important role. In May, fashion designer Anna Daubner accepted our invitation, and in June, we asked dance artist Anna Mikes about her passion, with Timi Gelencs\u00e9r also taking part in the conversation.<\/p>\n\n\n <\/span>\n\n<\/div>

The Year of Anna in August proved to be a truly extraordinary event, with the actresses who play Anna in the new Mad\u00e1ch Theatre production of The Ice Magic telling us about the special task, Anita Gad\u00f3, Hien and Aisha Kardffy were our guests. In September, we focused on the beauty of reading with Anna Ott, and in October we asked Anna Ol\u00e1h, the creator of the Anna Am\u00e9lie brand, and Bogl\u00e1rka Csel\u0151tei Babus, a jewellery designer, about their passion.<\/p>\n\n\n <\/span>\n\n<\/div>\n\t

In November, actress Anna M\u00e9sz\u00f6ly shared behind-the-scenes secrets about the international success of the film Fekete Punkt, and in December we closed the series with Krisztina Mar\u00f3y, editor-in-chief of GLAMOUR magazine.<\/p>\n

In 2026, we will continue with more meaningful conversations, and we want to create a new tradition in the centuries-old tradition of the Anna Grand Hotel with these monthly meetings.
